We built this tool to be simple and useful. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it. We've written it in plain English on purpose — no legalese.
What we collect
Photos you upload — when you upload a photo to generate a listing, it's sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We never store your photos on our servers. They're processed in real time and gone immediately after.
Your email address — only if you choose to join our waitlist. We collect this through a Google Form and only use it to let you know about new features and plans. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
Anonymous usage data — we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the app (things like how many listings are generated, which buttons get clicked). This data is anonymous and not linked to you personally.
How we use it
Photos are sent directly to Anthropic's API so the AI can identify the item and write a listing. That's it — they're never saved anywhere by us.
Emails are only used to reach out when we launch new features or plan options. We won't spam you, and we won't share your email with anyone.
Analytics data helps us understand what's working and what to improve. We look at patterns, not individuals.
Third-party services we use
Anthropic — processes your photos via their AI API to generate listing content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Google Analytics — anonymous usage tracking to help us improve the app.
Vercel — hosts the app and serves it to you. Standard hosting infrastructure.
Google Forms — used to collect waitlist emails. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share your personal information with advertisers or third parties for their own use. We don't store your photos.
Removing your email
If you joined our waitlist and want to be removed, just email us and we'll take care of it promptly. We'll add a direct unsubscribe link once we move to a proper email platform.
A note on AI-generated content
Listings and prices generated by this tool are suggestions only. The AI can make mistakes — always review everything before posting to Facebook Marketplace. We're not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally as the app evolves. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Nothing will change in a surprising or harmful way — we'll keep it straightforward.
